When I think about individuals who have made a huge difference to our organization, I need look no further than Kevin Crum. He speaks in easy to understand terms on difficult topics. He brings clarity to confusion. His non-profit workshops bring a wealth of knowledge to attendees and a perfect way to mix and mingle with others in the non-profit world. When I have a question, I never hesitate to ask Kevin and he never fails to offer guidance. Thank you Kevin and thank you to your wonderful staff at Crum and Company.
Crum & Company’s annual philanthropy event at the Weathervane Theater is a must attend event for any non-profit organization seeking grants from local foundations. It’s one of the few opportunities in the area where you can hear directly from different foundations about funding priorities and the application and evaluation process. Our staff never misses this!
Since the inception of Crum & Company’s workshops I have attended nearly every session. The topics are always relevant and the presenters and panelists are very knowledgeable and compelling. I also have recommended these workshops to other non-profit Directors and staff as I always find them more than worth my time.
Our agency has been working with Crum and Company for several years. Personally I have had the pleasure of working with Kevin for almost 5 years. He is thorough but efficient, he has helped us with any additional questions that come up throughout the year. He has offered resources as well as education on new ideas. Kevin takes a personal interest each time we talk and is enjoyable to work with. We appreciate everything they provide for us.
I count myself among the lucky ones who get to work with the team of Crum & Company CPA’s. Their attention to detail for audits, reviews, compilations and 990’s are unsurpassed. Their friendship is appreciated. They’ve taken the complicated practice of accounting and transformed it into easy-to-understand terminology, showing me how it can strategically benefit our business and mission. As an added bonus, Kevin Crum has created a network of free seminars and workshops primarily aimed at the nonprofit industry. These meetings not only bring important and topical issues to light, they produce everyday usable ideas. Most important, they provide a platform where like-minded nonprofit professionals can come together and share best practice thinking.
Guardians Advocating Child Safety and Protection, has been with Crum and Co. for over 10 years! They are so easy to work with and are so knowledgeable working with non profit agencies. If he doesn’t have the answers to my questions, he finds the answers! It has been a great partnership, and we hope to continue for many more years!
When I was at the Battered Women's Shelter of Summit and Medina Counties/Rape Crisis Center, "Crum & Company, CPA's did an outstanding job handling the many facets of our year-end accounting and tax needs, but the one thing that has always impressed me is their ability to confer with them on a wide array of issues beyond just those services. It's that service and ability that brought value to their services far beyond the audit and preparation of the 990."
"I have worked with Kevin on a number of non-profit projects and found his professionalism and depth of knowledge essential in getting to that next level. Whether fixing long standing problems or tuning up existing financial practices Kevin and his staff have shown their patient and thoughtful guidance can be very effective."
"The most impressive thing about working with Kevin and his firm is their personal investment. In addition to playing an integral role in helping us improve our organizational financial control strategies, they serve as trusted advisors and are always dedicated to helping us create the best solutions to meet our needs."
